Keith and Schnars Announces New Transportation Planning Leadership

Fort Lauderdale --- For over two decades, Keith and Schnars has been recognized as one of the State’s leading transportation planning firms. However, never content to rest on its reputation or past successes, the company recently announced major changes to its transportation planning leadership.
John Krane, P.E. has been appointed the firm’s new Director of Transportation Planning. Widely recognized as one of Florida’s leading authorities on transportation-related issues, Mr. Krane joins Keith and Schnars after a long and distinguished career with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), where he managed District IV’s Systems Planning Section, Statistics Section, and Consultant Project Development and Environment Section.
The firm also has a new Regional Transportation Planning Manager, Eric Penfield, P.E.A highly experienced engineer who has worked for over eleven years with the State’s most prominent public and private sector clients, Mr. Penfield will manage the firm’s expanding West Palm Beach office. He will also oversee the firm’s transportation planning operations within the Treasure Coast region, which has experienced record levels of growth and investment over the course of the last five years.
Finally, veteran manager Andre Groenhoff has been named the new Assistant Vice President for Transportation Planning. Mr. Groenhoff has worked with Keith and Schnars for over thirteen years and he played an instrumental role in the growth of the Transportation Planning Division. He brings over 35 years of experience to the post, where he will be charged with overseeing quality control and developing the firm’s transportation planning business.
