The Dolphin Mall is located on 190 acres in Miami-Dade County on the north west corner of the NW 112th Avenue and NW 12th Street. Keith and Schnars provided a variety of civil engineering design including drainage design, lift station design, roadway design, traffic analysis and environmental engineering. The sites drainage system consists of approximately 17,000 linear feet of exfiltration trench and has 2 large stormwater retention ponds which provide drainage for the Mall and adjacent properties as well. The lift station was designed in accordance with Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department Standards and has a pumping capacity of 1500 gallons per minute. Roadway widening occured on NW 107th Avenue, NW 25th Street and NW 12th Street. Northwest 112th Avenue was constructed as well as the Turnpikes Interchange at NW 12th Street.
