DOLPHIN/PRO PLAYER STADIUM

 Keith and Schnars provided multi-disciplinary services, including DRI/ADA preparation and processing; platting; access roadways; bridge and Florida's Turnpike interchange design; topographic and vegetation surveys; environmental assessments and monitoring; engineering infrastructure design and complete landscape architecture and civil engineering services. The DRI/ADA development and processing included complete engineering studies and data collection for water supply, wastewater; stormwater; flood plains, soils and transportation issues. In addition to the 73,000 seat stadium, the original complex included more than one million square feet of office and retail space, three hotels, a trade mart, a convention center in conjunction with one of the hotels and a sports medicine clinic. More recently, Keith and Schnars completed a design/build contract for a variety of improvement projects at Pro Player Stadium. These include restriping of the handicapped parking lot to meet current ADA standards; relocating the RV parking lot to a newly created parking area and providing associated clearing, retention design and drainage improvements to the new lot; restriping the former RV lot for preferred automobile parking; transforming a grass parking area to a paved one and providing associated drainage and pavement improvement design; and relocating the preferred parking drive to provide expansion opportunities for the Sportstown area. Keith and Schnars continues to provide a variety of engineering and traffic planning services for Dolphin (Pro Player) Stadium and the Dolphin Center site. |
