FDEP CARL LAND SURVEYING SERVICES
|
 Keith and Schnars P.A. has served under continuous contract with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Division of State Lands, Bureau of Surveying and Mapping) since 1985. We have been one of the Department's lead consultants, providing Environmental and Surveying and Mapping services for Conservation and Recreation Lands (CARL) projects and for the Florida Forever (formerly Preservation 2000) program. We have provided comprehensive multi-discipline services on conservation lands appraisal, land acquisition, regional mapping, and geodetic control projects. In the Florida Keys, we established the entire Monroe County Horizontal Control Densification Network for the Department, and for incorporation into the National Geodetic Survey's BlueBooked Database. This network served as the GIS base control for all subsequent appraisal and acquisition activities. |
